Literacy Making a Difference

Pam, a member of the Augusta South Rotary since 2003, is District Governor 2016/17 and is excited to celebrate 100 years of The Rotary Foundations in Atlanta in June.
She served as club president from 2006-07 and Asst. Governor 2009-12. After serving as a host family for Georgia Rotary Student Program, she served as a Trustee from 2009-12 and Director from 1012-17. She is a Rotary Leadership Institute graduate and a multiple Paul Harris Fellow +5, Sustaining Member, Bequest Society Member. Pam was named “Hero Among Us” by Past District Governor Bob Griggers, chaired the Stop Hunger Now Project in 2010 and 2012 and served as the Chair for the Rotary Area Council. Pam is currently VP for the Greater Augusta Partnership for Literacy which works to put books in the hands of children.

In her spare (?) time, Pam is a mom, grandmother and has been employed for 25 years at Augusta University where she created and heads the JagCard Office.
Pam’s goal is to make a difference to improve the life of others in her community and across the globe.
